Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our driver will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. You will receive a safari briefing and have time to relax after your journey. Arusha serves as the gateway to Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations and is the perfect place to prepare for your adventure. Overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge or a similar hotel.
Day 2: Arusha to Ndutu – Afternoon Game Drive
After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and head toward the Ndutu region in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes you through Maasai villages and the stunning landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check in at Ndutu Heritage Camp, enjoy lunch, and proceed for an afternoon game drive. You will witness vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Ndutu Heritage Camp.
Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu
Spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu region, where the Great Migration herds gather. Early in the morning, set off on a game drive to see wildebeest calves being born, with lions, cheetahs, and hyenas nearby. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your adventure in the woodlands and open plains. Later, return to Ndutu Heritage Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Ndutu to Central Serengeti – Game Drive
After breakfast, drive toward the Serengeti National Park while enjoying incredible wildlife sightings along the way. Arrive in the Central Serengeti, check in at Serengeti Heritage Camp, and have lunch before heading for an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is home to numerous predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. As the sun sets, return to Serengeti Heritage Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – Game Drive
You will start the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti to catch predators in action before they retreat from the sun. After breakfast, you will leave for Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most beautiful and wildlife-rich calderas in the world. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater, where you will find diverse wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and the elusive leopard. After an exciting game drive and picnic lunch by the hippo pool, you will ascend and head to Rhino Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Ngorongoro to Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, you will enjoy a scenic drive back to Arusha, with optional stops for souvenirs along the way. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will have lunch before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. If your flight is later in the evening, you may explore Arusha town or relax at the hotel before your airport transfer.
